Afflictions for the Saints is from God to strengthen faith and not necessarily from the devil

The devil cannot attack or touch us real Christians without getting God’s permission every single time. It is God who allows affliction in the saints’ lives, in order to sanctify us or strengthen our faith or glorify himself or for the sake of others or whatever else reason that God has in his infinite wisdom. The Word of God says many are the afflictions of the righteous but God delivers him out of them all. All the characters in the Bible went through a lot of afflictions. Likewise, we could call out to the entire world every day for the arrest of all the criminals and elites in the world, and advertise our allies’ bounties on the elites every day even while receiving assassination attempts and horrific persecutions every day, but if God is allowing them to continue to exist for now, then all our shouting out from the rooftops will not get them arrested.
