In a parliamentary speech this 16th Feb. 2022, Craig Kelly of United Australia Party, spoke of the AEC’s requirement for the 100,000 strong temporary workforce of polling station staff to be Covid-19 vaccinated. This is just another impediment to the smooth working of such an important national practice to elect the next government.
