My 29th protest, and the third disappointment numbers-wise in a row. Apparently, a late telegram post by WA Freedom, just before 10 p.m. the evening before this day’s event, said the event was cancelled. I don’t know what is going on, but it is the second recent event that I have heard that late cancellation information has been posted on the usual sites that most of us rely on. And so, with 50 to 70 folk present in Forrest Place, THE political rally stage in Western Australia, and with half the people present representing various minor parties, and with sound equipment ready to go, someone or several decided not to speak to us at all. We disbanded within two hours. I stayed for 3 hours, chatting profitably with a number of folk, old and new. It’s one second to midnight, and this is not good enough.
