Russia has just launched two Iranian satellites into orbit. Twin satellites "Kowsar" and "Hudhud" were carried into space by a Soyuz rocket at the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Russian far east.
Kowsar is a high-resolution imaging satellite, and Hudhud is Iran's first communications satellite.
