Nathan was on a walk with his wife and two daughters, when Johnson, who was upset because one of Nathan’s daughters touched the mulch on his lawn, confronted them. Johnson pulled out a gun and began to threaten Nathan and his family. Nathan sent his family home and said he would try and defuse the situation. Instead, Johnson shot him, before going back to his home and barricading himself inside.
